Grammy winning, Twin Cities folk duo The Okee Dokee Brothers are coming to the Ordway Theater in St. Paul for two back to back shows on Sunday, 11/17. Beloved by adults and kids alike, The Okee Dokke Brothers deliver a healthy dose of fun, feel good folk music. Last year, The Okee Dokee Brothers released Winterland, an exuberant yet introspective collection of 16 original songs exploring the wonders and beauty of winter. A voyage from autumn to spring, Winterland presents secular winter music the entire family can enjoy while cozying up around the fire.

Their shows at the Ordway will be a little extra special, as they are bringing a full band to accompany them on stage. The first Okee Dokee Brothers show is at 11:ooam and the second show is at 2:00pm. Tickets to both shows are available HERE.

“The Okee Dokee Brothers are an independent American bluegrass and American roots children’s music duo from Minneapolis. As childhood friends growing up in Denver Colorado, Joe Mailander and Justin Lansing were always exploring the outdoors. Whether it was rafting down their neighborhood creek or discovering hiking trails through the Rocky Mountains, Joe and Justin were born adventurers. Now, as the GRAMMY® Award-winning Okee Dokee Brothers, they have put this passion for the outdoors at the heart of their Americana Folk music.

Joe and Justin record and perform family music with a goal to inspire children and their parents to step outside and get creative. They believe this can motivate kids to gain a greater respect for the natural world, their communities and themselves. The five-time Parents’ Choice Award winners have garnered praise from the likes of NPR’s All Things Considered and USA Today, and have been called “two of family music’s best songwriters.”
