Indie-Pop-Folk-Rock band, The Mowgli’s, will be stopping by the Varsity Theater with Jukebox The Ghost on March 18th as part of their Making Friends Tour.

The Mowgli’s dropped a new EP called “American Feelings” on March 1st which has already been getting great feedback. New hits like “Hard to Love” have already been added to Amazon Music’s Fresh Alternative playlist, while “Mr. Telephone” was featured on Apple Music’s Breaking Alternative playlist. The third single “Norman Rockwell” premiered with Billboard and was also featured by Alt Press. Inspired by the magnetism of San Francisco, the grind of Los Angeles and the serenity of the West Coast, their songs are a joyous revival of rock n’ roll, a grooving indie-folk dance and a heartfelt protest ballad.

If you have yet to see The Mowgli’s live, you’ll be in for a fun surprise! These 4 kids from the San Fernando Valley float between the realm of indie pop and country as they host of genres in between. Drawing inspiration from bands such as fun., Grouplove, and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, their roots lye in the music of Neil Young, The Byrds, The Beach Boys and Fleetwood Mac.
