The Head & The Heart are taking over The Armory on Wednesday, September 18th for a show that is sure to turn your Wednesday into feeling more like a Friday.
The Head and the Heart is an American indie folk band. They were formed in the summer of 2009 by Josiah Johnson (vocals, guitar, percussion) and Jonathan Russell (vocals, guitar, percussion). The band also includes Charity Rose Thielen (violin, guitar, vocals), Chris Zasche (bass), Kenny Hensley (piano), and Tyler Williams (drums).The band is signed to Warner Bros. Records and have released four albums thus far. The band released their third studio album, Signs of Light, in September 2016, touring in both North America and Europe following its release.
They released their fourth studio album, Living Mirage, on May 17, 2019. This tour is in support of this new album but you can be sure that you’ll be able to hear all of your tried and true favorites during this show.
Opening the show will be The Moondoggies.
