The Driver Era will be getting their ‘The Driver Era World Tour 2021’ tour started at First Avenue on Monday, November 15th!

Like the band name, the music of The Driver Era captures a certain classic feeling while looking toward tomorrow. With the two brothers, Ross and Rocky Lynch, writing, performing, and producing all of the tracks, their stylistically unpredictable music also conjures up every romantic association with heading out on the open road: limitless possibility, the thrill of escape, a refusal to stay in one place for any real length of time.

With massive hooks and immaculate production, songs like “Feel You Now” and “Low” show the tight musicianship that Ross and Rocky have honed over the years in their longtime band R5-a five-piece whose self-produced 2017 EP New Addictions was praised as “full of sharply constructed pop confections” by Rolling Stone. It was during that band’s recent worldwide tour, the two began dreaming up a new project that would allow them to explore their more experimental tendencies.

The Wrecks, who will be opening up the show, are an Indie Rock band originating in Thousand Oaks, California. This 5-piece, heavily influenced by groups such as The Killers, Cage the Elephant, and Vampire Weekend, make it almost impossible not to dance. Eccentric frontman Nick Anderson drives the band with his stage-presence, passion for writing and constant exploration of the band’s sound. Behind the riffs of Nick Schmidt on lead guitar, the band finds its modern, yet nostalgic indie rock sound. This collaboration of exceptional musicians came together in mid November of 2015 through Richard Reines and R&S Management. Anderson had been writing for a few of the members’ old bands/projects, so when the idea for this new band came around, everyone was in-between projects and the members were easily recruited, thus conceiving The Wrecks.

Moontower will be getting the show started off right. Moontower is an indie-electronic three-piece (Tom, Jacob, Dev) combining left-of-center pop melodies with French House inspired production. At the center of the group is a high-energy live show solidifying Moontower as a promising new artist in alternative music.

Tickets for this all ages show are still available HERE!
