The 10th annual 80/35 Festival will take place in Des Moines on July 7 & 8

Taking its name from interstate I-80 and I-35 that intersect in Des Moines, the 80/35 festival was first held in 2008 and has become a multi day affair drawing a crowd of thousands to the Western Gateway Park.  It is organized by the non-profit Des Moines Music Coalition. One cool fact about 80/35 is that a large part of their lineup is can be seen for free on multiple stages.

Tickets for this years event can be found HERE

Given the proximity to the Twin Cities and the many “economic refugees” from Iowa in Minnesota, it’s no surprise that some of our favorite local bands will represent Minnesota such as Bad Bad Hats, The Suburbs, and ZULUZULUU.
