Legendary thrash metallers Testament & Kreator are bringing their well oiled machines back to Minneapolis. This peerless pairing of thrash icons is surely one of the most reliable couples of legacy metal possible, as both bands have been consistently turning out excellent metal for well over 30 years, with rarely a single misstep, and they are bring a co-headlining festival of mayhem to Myth in just a few short weeks!
Testament have been pretty busy in 2024 – they’ve released remastered versions of The Legacy and New Order, they’ve been hard at work on a new album (with tracking going well but slowly according to Chuck Billy), and a swing through Europe saw them supporting Poland’s best export Behemoth. Meanwhile, Germany’s Kreator have been busy supporting their last record – Hate Über Alles – since it was released in 2022, with a Klash of the Titans tour (with one leg being with Testament) throughout 2023 and continuing into this year with the fall segment back with the Bay Area titans.
If that wasn’t enough, thrash veterans Possessed will be supporting them for this leg of the tour – that’s three legends of the genre in a single night, meaning there won’t be a single neck spared amongst the crowd as headbanging will likely be ruthlessly involuntary!
