It’s not food but if you’re a music fan, a hip hop fan in particular, is can oftentimes be just as satisfying. It’s a place for artists within the scene to blossom. At home on the explore tab of Spotify, it’s one of the streaming services most popular playlists and the most popular hip hop playlist.
In addition to being one of the most successful playlists provided by Spotify, Rap Caviar has also turned into a live event. A series of concerts hosted in various places that has one main goal, to highlight some of the hottest acts in hip hop music. The next show is set and ready, hosted at the Varsity Theater in Minneapolis the line up this time around consists of record producer and songwriter Metro Boomin, Gunna, Blueface, Roddy Ricch and YBN Cordae.
Described by Forbes as “easily one of the most in-demand hit makers in the world,” Metro Boomin is the man behind many of the most popular tracks in hip hop within recent years. Chart topping songs from the like of Migos, 21 Savage, Post Malone, Drake and Future have all been put together by Metro and his producer tag,” If Young Metro don’t trust you I’m gon’ shoot you,” can be heard across a myriad of other songs and albums.
In support of one of the most prominent producers, a few of the fastest rising stars are set to perform. College Parks very own Gunna, notable for his Drip Season mixtapes and his collaborative effort Drip Harder with Lil Baby is one of the names that is sure to draw a crowd. Blueface, a relatively new face will also hit the stage. Having risen to fame after a series of videos went viral due to in part his offbeat rhymes the young rapper has quickly risen through the ranks and given his inclusion in this years line up he has quite the career ahead of him.
