Clear your calendars for the night of Monday, May 15th. RVIVR is making a stop at The Triple Rock Social Club and, even with so many great shows going on next week, this one is more than worth your attention. RVIVR is a punk band from Olympia, Washington who is notorious for not only their catchy music, but also their energetic performances. I’ve been watching some live footage of these guys over the past couple of days and that alone has me more than excited for this Monday night show. With two full length albums and a couple of EP’s out you can expect to hear a wide range of music from this group that spans their nearly ten year lifespan.
The show will be opened up by three local bands all of which deserve your ears. 4th Curtis, St. Paul’s premier all-trans indie-pop band will be kicking the night off right. Following them will be Contentious, a local queercore group featuring members of Naive Sense, Rifle Diet, Hive, and No Skin. As if that’s not enough to sell you on this show, grungy Minneapolis group Intrepid Hearts will also be performing.
Don’t let Monday be just another Monday. Get your butts off the couch and come check out this amazing show!
