New West recording artists Seratones bring their punk and rock infused soul sound to 7th Street Entry on September 6. Tickets and details can be found HERE.
It’s been quite a whirlwind for Shreveport, LA natives The Seratones since their founding just over five years ago. Their high energy shows immediately gained favorable comparisons to bands like Louisiana Shakes. NPR, Paste and Rolling Stone raved about their 2016 debut Get Gone.
Their sophomore offering is titled Power and early reviews are again strong. According to Indientry: “Louisana soul rockeers Seratones may have reined in their previously brash punk sound in favor of the grungy, modern soul-meets-rock music of POWER, their sophomore record, but the album is no less massive.”
Power hit the streets on August 23 and the band has embarked on an ambitious North American tour which then culminates in a couple of weeks across the pond in Europe.
Joining Seratones on the tour are singer/songwriter Courtney Yasmine and funk and R&B influenced rockers The Violet Nines.
Expect energy, big sound and lots of dancing in Entry. Act quick because tickets may get tough for this one.
