St. Paul band After Rome got its start in 2014 their debut record “House Of David.” began with a idea that was developed over 10 years ago. This idea has turned into a fully conceptualized album that tells a story from start to finish.
One hand on the modern and the other on the ancient: driving rock anthems, moving ballads, and honest Americana are all descriptive of their sound. The range and depth of After Rome’s
sound flows from the meaning in their songs – the marriage of music and storytelling. The band is not interested in making music to pass time, but to hopefully create timeless songs with far-
reaching impact, and to refocus on the art of songwriting. They would argue: If music has no impact, Then why create it at all?
The band is set to release the album with a show at O’Gara’s in St. Paul next Friday 3/9. Tickets are available HERE
