My new word for Thursday? “Newgrass” aka progressive bluegrass. Promoting their newly released Red Rocks Live DVD New Jersey based band Railroad Earth stopped at First Avenue and delivered a great show.
Divided into two sets Railroad Earth started their set pretty much as a jam session without loosing individual songs.
Their fans, who refer to themselves as “Hobos” were as entertaining to watch as the band.
