Americana singer/songwriter, Vicky Emerson, was raised in rural Wisconsin, has lived in New York City and San Francisco before relocating back to her roots in Minneapolis to raise her children. With an influence by the work of Lucinda Williams and Emmylou Harris and with pure inspiration from JD McPherson and Jason Isbell, her newest album, Wake Me When the Wind Dies Down is deeply infectious. One listen and you will immediately want to repeat the full album. Matt Patrick, who produced her last two albums (Long Ride and Dust & Echoes) readily signed on to produce a third masterpiece.
