One band that I covered as an opening band and fell in love with, is Minneapolis trio turned quartet Catbath. Coming out of their winter hiatus and ready to shed some fur, the band just performed on Radio K and will be at the Triple Rock next Friday 3/25. Tickets are still available HERE
A show filled with local bands, Lunch Duchess (members of BOYF/Catbath/Bae Tigre) will be releasing their first EP, along with a double release by The Backyard Robbers, and a set by Rupert Angeleyes. Catbath will be debuting a new song and a new second guitarist, Gravey G. If you are up for an evening of cool local rock, be there. After all, how can one resist a band who describes itself as: “Catbath’s purring harmonies, roaring screams and hissing fuzz and feedback, are as fresh and bracing to the ears as a rough cat’s tongue to the cheek.
