Peter Frampton came to the State theatre in Minneapolis on a hot July evening. Peter brought his english rock sound on his 2016 North American Tour to the midwest.
The State Theatre in Minneapolis was designed for incredible sound and visual lighting. The State Theatre seamed to be the perfect venue for Peter Frampton. Peter Frampton came out with high energy starting his set with “Something’s Happening”. The cheers from the fans were fantastic. The fun and emotion that Peter and his band showed over the twenty three song setlist was amazing.
Peter Frampton played a five song Acoustic set starting with “All I Wanna Be (Is By Your Side)” , “Wind of Change” , “Peggy Sue”, “Hummingbird in a Box” and “Penny for Your Thoughts”. The setlist consisted of favorites like “Rebel Rebel” a David Bowie cover, “Black Hole Sun” “Baby I Love Your Way”. Peter played a three song encore ending with Beatles cover “While My Guitar Gently Weeps”.
At age 66 Peter Frampton is still on top of his game !!!!
