After releasing their new album, “Magic Gone”, last week on June 15th under Run for Cover Records fans will have the opportunity to see this talented alternative/indie group in a matter of days. Noisey declare’s Petal’s latest single, “Stardust”, to be a “raw, indie rock resolution.” Make sure to check out the video for “Stardust” below to prep for the show.
For the new record, Run for Cover Records describes this album as “a bitingly honest look at adulthood, accountability, responsibility, and mental health and the difficulties that go along with each of them.” Lotz herself provided insight into the personal experiences that helped inspire the creation of this record describing them as “…a moment where all the paranoia, anxiety and pain become too much and you realize the structure you built to survive is no longer going to serve you.” This album is sure to connect with listeners in a way that shows everyone experiences obstacles regardless of your journey, and along with that realization there’s a moment of partnership between the listener and artist.
Their tour promoting the new album will be at 7th Street Entry on 6/26. A few tickets are still available HERE.
For this tour they will be accompanied by alternative/indie groups Camp Cope and Oceanator. This will surely be an enjoyable night filled with a lot of talent so I suggest you get your tickets soon as I suspect they won’t be available for much longer.
