Pink Floyd founding member Nick Mason is on the road in North America for the first time in 25 years.  His band Saucerful of Secrets will appear at the State.  Details and tickets can be found HERE.

While the names of Roger Waters and David Gilmour are perhaps better known as a result of long running solo careers, Pink Floyd in its early incarnation was very much a consortium of uber-talented musicians.  Nick Mason was there on drums from the very beginning.

As mentioned above, the last time Mason performed on a stage this side of the pond was in 1994 when he joined Pink Floyd’s  Division Bell Tour.  Like many musicians, the need to interact with other players and perform became an itch that needed to be scratched.

Saucerful of Secrets is comprised of Mason on percussion, Spandau Ballet’s Gary Kemp, long time Pink Floyd touring bassist Guy Pratt, along with Lee Harris on guitar and Dom Beken on keys.  The tour is a walk down the early pre-Dark Side of the Moon music the seminal psychedelic band.  Mason has gathered musicians with the chops to pull it off.  Reviews to date have been glowing.
