New Found Glory is an American pop-punk band from Coral Springs, Florida, formed in 1997. Band members are Jordan Pundik (vocals), Chad Gilbert (guitar), Ian Grushka (bass) and Cyrus Bolooki (drums). Promoting their 2014 album Resurrection the Sleep When I Die tour played Minneapolis’ Varsity Theater Friday Night.

Opening acts Turnstile, This Wild Life, and Turnover did a proper job of getting the audience in the mood. Security had their hands full guiding crowd surfers to a safe landing and a good sized, yet Minnesota nice, mosh pit formed a few rows back from the stage. The set started with a cheesy/classic video of the Battle Hymn of the Republic and whatever dust was on that video got blown off within a few seconds of the band hitting the stage. New Found Glory delivered a fast paced, lively set that was precisely what the capacity crowd at the Varsity came to see.
