The Reckless Ones will be taking over the Uptown VFW on Friday, March 8th. Don’t spend your Friday night wishing you had something to do. Come out for a great show, good drinks, great food, and the best company that the cities have to offer (can you tell that I absolutely love this venue?!).
The Reckless Ones are a Modern Rockabilly band that just won’t take no for an answer! They’ve gone so far as to create their own genre of Modern Rockabilly in order to stay true to their own music and their modern and older influences. Their goal is to rework the classics in order to make them speak to the modern world. And geez, these guys do it with a depth of music knowledge that’s hard to match!
Local group Liquor Beats Winter will be opening up for The Reckless Ones. I haven’t seen them since May 2017 but they made such a lasting impression on me that I’ve been craving a show from them ever sense. Their unique blend of blues, punk, and country will definitely make for a great opening act.
Teenage Exorcist will be kicking the night off.
