Muzzy Bearr, Opiuo and GRiZ brought the party to the Myth. The Myth was quiet prior to this epic evening of electronic dance music. Doors opened at 8pm I expected to see fans lined up around the Myth as the snow fell. The music started at 9pm and the masses of fans all began to swarm in to fill the venue. I loved watching all of fans who dressed for Halloween.

The night started with DJ Dan Hacker from Detroit, Michigan. Dan Hacker aka Muzzy Bearr played a great forty five minute set. The fans danced and loved the beats. Muzzy was mixing and dancing on stage feeling the power of music himself. Muzzy Bearr did a great job the fans certainly loved the beats.

Opiuo was after Muzzy Bear. Opiuo is from Ngatimoti, New Zealand and he is currently touring the U.S. with Griz. Live, Opiuo is an ever evolving feast for the ears. From a one man show equipped with drum machines and synths, all the way to The Opiuo Band, amassing a collection of the world’s best musicians to perform his music 100% live. The set was a full hour great beats to drum machine pops. The fans loved the continuous party vibe with Opiuo.

The fans were ready for the man himself Griz to perform.  Grant Kwiecinski, also known by his stage name GRiZ, is an American DJ and electronic producer from Michigan.  He is known for playing the saxophone along with producing funk, electro-soul, and self-described future-funk.

12 Days of Grizmas, is an annual event hosted by Griz, is intended to generate attention and revenue for nonprofits. During the twelve days leading up to Christmas, all proceeds generated from events are donated to a variety of charities, and fans are often rewarded for their participation.

When Griz came out on stage the fans went nuts. The energy and excitement went thru the roof. The fans danced and danced. Griz was dancing on stage while playing his saxophone and mixing at the same time. What a great show !!!
