Sue Mclean & Associates just announced the lineup for the 27th Music in the Zoo summer concert series. All shows begin at 7:30 p.m. (or unless otherwise noted) and take place at the Minnesota Zoo (13000 Zoo Blvd., Apple Valley, Minn.). As usual the event series covers a wide range of artists and genres.
The Cactus Blossoms and The Suburbs will start events with a strong local flair and the Pop 2000 tour will bring the glory days of boy bands to the zoo. Tickets will be available next Saturday 4/20 at 10 AM HERE
My personal favorite? The Psychedelic Furs and James on 7/24. The Furs always deliver at live shows and James is a band I have been wanting to see live for a long time – I can’t wait to sing “This bed is on fire with passionate love, the zoo animals complain about the noises above” Will the band update their lyrics to “Laid”?
