Los Angeles based band Mt. Joy is heading back to Minneapolis to play at the Varsity Theater on October 12. The five-piece group is bringing their fall tour to Minneapolis with songs from their debut self titled album which was released last March.

Debuting as a band in 2016 the band has since received over 100 million streams on Spotify and has made an impact across the folk and indie rock music scene.

With hit song “Astrovan” opening doors for the band, lead singer Matt Quinn said “that song was really about being stuck in a life and wanting to have the opportunity to pursue a dream, and in an instant it gave us that opportunity” via the band’s website.

Touring on and off since 2017, the band will be back in Minneapolis with support from Wilderado. You can find tickets HERE.
