After releasing his EP “Love Overflowing” in July 2016 under Love Not War Records he is headed our way on the 2018 Great Remembering Tour. Known for his reggae style Mike Love is sure to bring the heat to the Minneapolis area for March. About the new EP, Top Shelf Reggae declares, “it’s a captivating compilation of luscious performances featuring carefully crafted melodies and complex arrangements…there is a timeless quality to this music, spanning multiple genres that is neither clumsy nor obtrusive.” You can have a listen to “Be Thankful” which is one out of the seven songs that appear on the EP below.
When asked about his album, Mike Love shared with Top Shelf Reggae that, “it’s a collection of songs, some of which were intended to be on my last album but didn’t fit, and so it’s meant to be a sort of companion album to Love Will Find a Way.”

Supporting Love will be Jungle Man Sam (with a solo set). Jungle Man Sam is a new breed of musician. Be it solo or backed by a full band, Jungle Man Sam’s dynamic sound can be described as a blend of pop, dance, and world music that incorporates elements of Dancehall, Soca, Reggaeton, and Hip Hop. Growing up in the city of Toronto and playing music since early childhood.
I wouldn’t expect tickets to be available for much longer. I highly recommend taking the time to get out on a Wednesday evening to see this show as it’s a nice break to the work week, and a chance to see some amazing talent.
