Machine Gun Kelly (AKA MGK) has been on the rise since early 2009. Delivering his lyrics at speed MGK began making headlines in 2009 when he became the first rapper to win amateur night at Harlem’s Apollo Theater. MGK’s performance at SXSW is what really sent him to stardom. Signing with Bad Boy that night and his debut album landed in 2012. MGK topped charts in 2015 with his album General Admission earning a respectable fourth on Billboard’s top 200.
Following the success of his third studio album, Bloom, he received an unexpected boost. In 2018, Eminem resurrected a 2012 beef stemming from off-hand comments MGK made about Eminem’s daughter. MGK responded to Eminem with the track Rap Devil. Entering the U.S. Hip Hop chart top ten, MGK capitalized on the exposure boost with the release of his project “Binge”
MGK will bring his signature dark, trap-influenced style to MYTH Live on June 12th as part of his Hotel Diablo Tour. A live performance promises to bring fans the rapper’s now iconic sly wordplay and focused flows along with high energy to put on a live show you will not want to miss.
