Lewis Capaldi, the latest in the ever present list of British Invaders, is setting out on tour this upcoming fall. And at the Start of next year. And if I had to guess most likely another run of shows later in 2020 as well, but I digress. All you’ve got to concern yourself with at the moment is that his US tour is routed and we’ve been blessed with what is sure to be a memorable performance at First Avenue. Lewis will be playing the iconic venue in just a few short weeks on October 3rd. The Scottish singer and songwriter has catapulted to the top of the charts over the course of 2019 following the release of his debut album ‘Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent’. While I’m sure most of those who peruse websites dedicated to everything music are fully aware of just who Lewis Capaldi is, If you are among the uninitiated he’s the man behind the number one song, ‘Someone You Loved’. If the title of the track doesn’t ring a bell you’re sure to recognize it upon listening.
Having garnered quite a substantial amount of attention through the release of a pair of EP’s through 2017-18, Lewis and his ride up the charts, while snap fast, has been brewing for a handful of months. Having toured with artists such as Sam Smith, Bastille, and Milky Chance, he picked up steam fast with praises from the A-list, including James Bay and Niall Horan. He’s a record breaker and an artist that is impossible not to watch. With such a thunderous start to his career, Lewis has a future ahead of him thats for sure. If, like many, you are wanting to see him in the flesh you’ll have to be quick with ticket purchases ash his First Avenue performance is already sold out. Check out the rest of the dates below if there are tickets available in another city it would be in your best interest to buy them, he is not an act to miss.
