Indie pop singer/songwriter Layne Putnam is bringing her North American Tour to the Amsterdam Bar and Hall on Saturday, March 31. Putnam made a name for herself in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Her years spent there formed the foundation for the beginning of the LAYNE style. Much of her inspiration comes her surrounding and from growing up with fondness for the arts.
“Music has always been the constant in my life,” says Layne Putnam. “It’s always been there for me, and it always will be. It’s always been my purpose and reason and the one thing that no one could ever take away from me. Growing up until now, it’s been my power, my identity, and my best friend.”
