Late Night Fights returns home to Minneapolis on December 16th for an album release party at the Varsity Theater (on the University of Minnesota campus) for their new album Bliss. The show is presented by 93X and will wrap up their ten-show The Whole World Is In Drugs Tour with Red Tide Rising. Divide the Fall and Lake Avenue will also provide support. The evening will also include special aerial and dance appearances by Cirque du Pole from Pole and Performing Art. That sounds interesting! Doors are at 7pm and show at 7:30pm. Tickets are just $12 and available HERE

Bliss will be the band’s third album, following Jousthouse (2015) and Renal 911 (2017). Their songs cover a wide range of styles from hard rock, to grunge, to some lighter tracks. Their recently released single, “The Whole World Is On Drugs,” is a legitimate hit and we anxiously await hearing the rest of the tracks on Bliss. The Minneapolis rock trio is comprised of frontman Ryan Guanzon, bassist Shane Peckham, and drummer Daniel Johnson. Guanzon was formerly the drummer in New Medicine before leaving the band to explore writing and producing. He is now doing a Dave Grohl in writing songs, playing guitar, and fronting a band.

Their touring-mates, Red Tide Rising, is another rock trio made up of brothers Matthew (vocals) and Andrew (guitar) along with new drummer Glendon Crain. The band formed in 2008 when Matthew was just 13. They are currently finalizing a new EP to release in 2019 to add to 2013’s album The Rising and 2016’s EP Voices.
