The KillThrax 2018 Tour Will Bring Anthrax and Killswitch Engage To The Skyway On 2/24


New York Heavy Metal Thrash Legends Anthrax will be performing at the Skyway Theater in Minneapolis, co-headlining with Killswitch Engage on Saturday, February 24 as part of their “KillThrax 2018” Tour.  Anthrax is touring to promote their soon to be released long-awaited, live in concert DVD “Kings Among Scotland”.  In  2017, Anthrax was nominated for Best Live Band by Loudwire Music.  Killswitch Engage won the Best Live Band award in 2014, so it promises to be a don’t miss concert. Killswitch Engage are an American metalcore band from Westfield, Massachusetts, formed in 1999 after the disbanding of Overcast and Aftershock. Killswitch Engage’s current lineup consists of vocalist Jesse Leach, guitarists Joel Stroetzel and Adam Dutkiewicz, bassist Mike D’Antonio, and drummer Justin Foley. The band has released seven studio albums and one DVD. Their latest album, Incarnate, was released on March 11, 2016.

Anthrax is an American heavy metal band from New York City, formed in 1981 by rhythm guitarist Scott Ian and bassist Dan Lilker. The group was considered one of the leaders of the thrash metal scene during the 1980s. Of the “Big Four” thrash metal bands (the others being Metallica, Megadeth and Slayer). As of April 2017, the band has released 11 studio albums, several other albums, and 26 singles, including collaborating on a single with American hip hop group Public Enemy. Anthrax sold 2.5 million records in the United States from 1991 to 2004, with worldwide sales of 10 million.
