Australian born musician Julia Jacklin will be returning to the Twin Cities this Saturday November 16th to tour her newest album ‘Crushing’. The album, which focuses on Jacklin’s personal battle with love, vulnerability, and change, has made her a household name amongst the indie scene this year. She will also be accompanied by Los Angeles’ own Christian Lee Hutson, an Americana artist that shares Jacklin’s lyrical honesty and vulnerability. Hutson, who not only has a successful career on his own, additionally co-wrote on the ‘boygenius EP’ with another dreamy acoustic singer, Phoebe Bridgers. Hutson is continuing to make his name all over the music scene and will surely be a fan favorite to anyone who sees him.

This will also be Jacklin’s second time playing in the Twin Cities this year; a followup to her sold out show in May at the 7th Street Entry. Now, with over double the capacity of the Entry as well as being an all ages show, Julia invites her fast-growing fanbase to join her at the Cedar for a confessional set of both old and new songs.

It’s safe to say the perfect pairing of Jacklin and Hutson will be sure to deliver a night of emotional, haunting melodies with matter-of-fact lyrics that anyone can relate to.
