“Title pun game: 11/10” ~ My only fan and Mother.

Jason Ibsbell and The 400 Unit will be at the Armory on December 1st alongside Strand of Oaks! Don’t miss out on this amazing show by getting your tickets HERE

I first heard “Cover Me Up,” one of Jason’s biggest hits, back in college as my family has been a fan for a few years; It was after a long weekend of too much partying and if you haven’t heard that song, it’ll be the one that makes a large, grown man cry in the back row that night (ahem, Me). Isbell reigns from Green Hill, Alabama and has been playing music since the mid 90s. 4 Grammys to his name, Jason is mainly known for his solo career (guitar and vocals) but will be on tour this time with his band – The 400 Unit. While Isbell’s most recent solo album, Something More Than Free (2015) is how I found this artist, The 400 Unit recently released their 5th studio album just last month titled Georgia Blue. This Americana class act will be the headliner, but we have more in store for us this coming night in downtown Minneapolis.

Joining The 400 Unit will be Strand of Oaks. Strand of Oaks is known as a “rock project” produced by Timothy Showalter. Showalter reigns from Goshen, Indiana and recently released their 7th studio album: In Heaven. Described as a hybrid between rock and folk, Timothy will be bringing one-hell-of-a-story to The Armory while carrying his guitar and voice. They say pressure creates diamonds, and just reading slightly about this guy has me extremely excited for the stories that will be told that night on stage.

Don’t miss out on these killer acts coming to Minneapolis on 12.1 at The Armory!
