James Bay released his second studio album, “Electric Light”, in May of 2018 under label, “Republic Records”. Of the new album, Billboard says, “James Bay’s music is known for dissecting every aspect of human.” Make sure to take a listen to one of his hit singles, “Wild Love”, from the new album below.
Of the single, Bay states, “”Wild Love” is about the experience of falling for someone. Something you can feel immediately when you meet them for the first time, or which rekindles throughout a relationship. It’s also about yearning for someone – whether that’s the person you can’t keep your eyes off across the room, or in my experience, the person you don’t stop thinking about wherever you are in the world.”
His tour promoting the new album will be at the State Theatre on 3/20. This concert was originally scheduled for October of 2018, and all tickets for the original date will be honored for this rescheduled date. A few tickets are still available HERE.
Opening for him will be Noah Kahan. He is an American singer-songwriter of folk-infused pop who signed to Republic Records in 2017. A hit that many may recognize is “Young Blood” which was released in January of 2017. I would not count on tickets being available much longer so I recommend snagging some as soon as you can as I know I’m looking forward to this show.
