Good Night, Gold Dust is a Minnesota indie rock quartet comprised of Laura Schultz (vocals/rhythm guitar); Colin Scharf (lead guitar/vocals); Michelle Roche (percussion), and Zach Arney (synths/programming). GNGD plays urgent, dynamic songs featuring pop sensibilities, angular guitars, dark synthesizers, orchestral drumming, and Laura Schultz’s powerful, haunting voice.
Based in Mankato, MN they are currently playing dates in the Midwest including a set at the Stone Arch Bridge Fest on 6/21.
This Saturday they opened up for July Talk at the Triple Rock and I found their set to be engaging and interesting. Their self titled EP is scheduled to be release on August 29th. I recommend checking them out live.
