In it’s 3rd year the Trampled by Turtles curated Festival Palomino continues to grow. Held on September 17 at Canterbury Park, this year will feature artists on 3 stages and the lineup offers a great blend from folksy bluegrass to the rocking Arcs. And after much thinking on how to one up the Beard Oil tent of 2015, it was decided to add horse races to the first part of the festival. Well, we are a Canterbury Park, so as long as they keep the horses off the stage………

Festival Palomino was my personal favorite last year (check out our coverage HERE). Not only was there a great lineup but all the organization around it was top notch, no hassle parking, a great venue with room to sit down, no endless food lines and all that with 10,000+ attendees. You can sense First Avenue’s professional touch in all the details. Add to that the reasonable ticket price and it’s no brainer. Tickets are still available HERE
