On June 14th, 2019 One of the biggest Co-headline tours in the last ten years will make its stop at Minneapolis’ new venue, The Armory. With Father John Misty tearing it up in the indie folk scene and Jason Isbell quickly climbing the ranks in the alt country world, the two are sure to put on an unforgettable show. Too add to the already stellar bill opening for the two is the up and coming, Jade Bird.

Jade Bird is a twenty-one year old from Hexham, England. Her career took off with her first EP “Something American”. She has been praised by countless critics including Rolling Stone Magazine. Bird has just released her self entitled debut album. Her sound is powerful, she pulls in influence from rock, folk and even a little bit of hip hop with her vocals. She will be worth getting to the venue early.

Taking the center slot of the show is one of America’s best modern day country singer/songwriters, Jason Isbell. Isbell has been steadily gaining popularity since his debut solo record “Here We Rest” in 2011. Throughout the years he has had many hits such as “21 Frames”, “Cover Me Up” and “Once We Were Vampires”. “Once We Were Vampires” came in #17 in 89.3 The Current’s Top 893 Songs Since 2000. Isbell is sure to bring the country, the rock and your emotions pouring out of your body.

On last, is no other than Father John Misty. If you have not heard of this band then you may have lived under a rock for the last seven years. The band broke out in 2012 with their psych folk album “Fear Fun”. Their song “Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings” spread fast in the music world quickly propelling the band forward. Last year FJM released their fourth album “God’s Favorite Customer”. With the album came another hit song “Fun times in Babylon”.
