Don’t let your Friday night be just another Friday night. Come on out to The Cabooze in Minneapolis to catch Earth Groans along with a slew of other amazing and heavy-hitting acts.
Earth Groans is a hardcore band from South Dakota. The band—made up of Jeremy Schaeffer, Zachariah Mayfield, Kaden Burton, and Brady Mueller—has been innovative since their conception in 2015. Their latest endeavor has them swinging the creative pendulum hard in both directions, splintering what could be a full-length record into two distinct but united EP’s. The first pursues a softer, more melodic side to the usually aggressive sound the group is known for, while the second hits with more force and dissonance than ever before. The duality of the two-part project showcases the band’s ability to corral chaos, and then unleash it.
In Search of Solace is a personal favorite of mine and will be joining in on the fun. Since forming in 2014, this band has been killing it locally and internationally. They are one of those bands that, no matter how many times you see them live, it doesn’t get old and their relentless energy will be perfect for your Friday night.
Opening up this show will be Agony Reigns, Common Choir, and Perth. All of these bands are truly stand-out acts in the local metal scene so make sure to get there early so you don’t miss a single second of any of these amazing acts.
