Dead Man Winter And David Huckfelt Will Be At The Turf Club On 12/3

Dead Man Winter’s Minneapolis Residency will be featuring David Huckfelt on December 3rd. Trampled by Turtles’ rogue warriors will be lead by Dave Simonett and blessing us with his Americana-infused indie rock in hand with the fellow Minnesota native David Huckfelt. This is gonna be folk’ing awesome!

Dead Man Winter is lead by the same frontman as Trampled by Turtles, David Simonnet, and consists of guitarman Erik Koskinen, bassist Tim Saxhaug, pianist Bryan Nichols, and JT Bates on the drums. This crew has produced several albums since their first, Bright Lights, in 2011 and followed up most recently by their 2017 studio recording Furnace.

Joining Winter will be David Huckfelt. Huckfelt is well known for his crazy backstory which consists of writing his solo album Stranger Angels while living in near-isolation on Isle Royale – in island 6 hours off the coast of Michigan in the middle of Lake Superior… inspiring or absolutely horrifying? You be the judge! His lyrics manage to tie the nature and emotions of that experience into his music, and will surely compliment Dead Man Winter in a variety of musical and philosophical ways.

Don’t miss out on this home-grown jam session at The Turf Club this December. Tickets are still available HERE and you can check out a sample of the music below!
