If you listen to hip hop, or music in general for that matter, then you have to have at least heard of this man. The hottest new artist in the game Baby Jesus a.k.a. DaBaby. To say 2019 has been kind to him would be the biggest understatement of my life. DaBaby has without a doubt had one of the most successful years, for any artist in recent memory, he has literally taken the game by storm and like a speeding bullet he is not slowing down. Hot of the release of his sophomore record ‘KIRK’ DaBaby is ready to tour yet again and what better city to kick things off in than Maplewood at Minnesotas own Myth.

DaBaby didn’t just drop one record in 2019, he dropped his first two. The first ‘Baby on Baby’ propelled him into the limelight off the success of the wildly popular single ‘Suge.’ However that wasn’t the only song that was met with success. This year for Charlottes own Baby has been a frenzy of hit after hit and show after show. If you follow him on social media you’d know theres barely a day where he’s not on stage or on the plane headed to the next one. Wherever he goes, his accolades continue to follow him. From late night appearances on national TV, to performing at the BET awards and taking a few trophies home with him DaBaby has proven himself to be the most powerful new voice in hip hop. As a matter of fact DaBaby tops the list of artists with the most Hot 100 Hits in 2019, with 20. He landed guest spots on multiple platinum records, collaborating with artists like Post Malone, J. Cole, Lil Nas X, Lizzo, Chance the Rapper and so many more. I could continue to list his successes but I digress.

A newly cemented personal favorite, DaBaby is unrelenting with his raps and his hooks are almost manufactured with how catchy they are. He’s got punchlines, hes got swagger and he is most importantly not an artist or show you want to miss on the stage. DaBaby will bring his KIRK TOUR to the Myth on Saturday November 16th with Stunna4Vegas, his right hand man, in tow. Im fairly confident the show will sell out but for the time being tickets can still be purchased HERE
