Heads up Minnesota metalcore fans, we have a hot show rolling into town April 9th as Crown the Empire and We Came As Romans will be playing the Skyway Theater in downtown Minneapolis. Tickets for this event have been selling fast, so if you’re are interested in going, you can still snag yours HERE. Keep in mind that this is going to be an early show, with the doors opening at 5:30pm and the show starting at 6:00pm.
Opening up for WCAR and Crown the Empire will be progressive metalcore band ERRA. ERRA takes their influences from well respected groups like Misery Signals, Born of Osiris, As I Lay Dying and Saosin, and thrive on being creative and showcasing their talent through their intense live performances.
Co-headling with Crown the Empire are We Came As Romans. WCAR is American metalcore band from Troy, Michigan, United States. Formed in 2005, the band has gone through one name change and multiple lineup changes, most notably the tragic loss of singer Kyle Pavone in 2018. Some of WCAR’s best known works include covers of “I’m Glad You Came” and “I Knew You Were Trouble.”
Headlining the bill will be Crown the Empire. Offering a metalcore take on the sound of predecessors like Linkin Park, Crown the Empire fuse electronic ambience with metal catharsis, creating a moody and dramatic sound that sets the Dallas, Texas band apart from its contemporaries. Crown the Empire made their debut in 2011 with the self-released EP Limitless, followed by their first full-length effort, The Fallout, which arrived on Rise Records in 2012. The record was reissued later in 2013 with a complete re-recording of Limitless (this time with David Escamilla on vocals) while the band was touring.
