Founded in 2003 by Craig Martin, Classic Albums Live has become the ultimate destination for music lovers wanting to hear the greatest albums performed live. Relying only on the music, using what Martin refers to as “the world’s best musicians,” Classic Albums Live has defined itself as a mainstay in performing arts centers across North America.
Pink Floyd’s The Wall is one of several albums performed by the Classic Albums Live group. Other albums performed nationally are The Beatles Abbey Road, Pink Floyd Wish You Were Here, Creedence Clearwater Revival Green River, The Doors LA Woman, and more.
The Wall is the 11th studio album by Pink Floyd, released in 1979. The Wall is a rock opera inspired by bassist Roger Waters referencing himself and former bandmate Syd Barret as the character Pink that explores isolation symbolized by a wall. The Wall is one of the most well-known concepts albums of our time and was adapted into a 1982 film.
