It may have been raining outside but inside the Mankato Civic Center it was warm and Chicago was jamming song after song in front of an enthusiastic crowd! The band opened with three solid hits including Introduction, Question, and Dialogue. The horn section included trombone, saxophone, and trumpet which everyone enjoyed listening to each instrument playing amazing riffs.
The iconic band has been playing for 5 decades and with 36 records. With countless hits, they performed 29 songs with one short intermission in the packed Civic Center Arena. The audience clapped and cheered each song which brought back many memories taking us all the way back to 70’s and 80’s while they played their hits.
Chicago played for 2 hours and finishing the evening with the songs ‘free’ and ’25 or 6 to 4′. What a memorable evening at the Mankato Civic Center with Chicago and the horn section playing solid hits! The band is going strong and filled with amazing talent! Thank You Chicago!!
