Did you miss Chelsea Grin’s ‘The Eternal Nightmare Tour’? No worries! They are bringing the tour back for part 2 and will be stopping by Amsterdam Bar & Hall in Saint Paul on Tuesday, November 5th.
Hailing from Salt Lake City, Utah, deathcore metal band Chelsea Grin rose to prominence in the early days of social media on MySpace after releasing singles “Crewcabanger” and “Lifeless” that were well-received by metal fans. After releasing their first body of work in the form of a self-titled EP. Only two years later to release their first official studio album, Desolation of Eden under the independent record label Artery.
Since then, Chelsea Grin has released another extended play project and an additional four studio albums including My Damnation (2011), Ashes to Ashes (2014), Self Inflicted (2016), and their latest musical offering in Eternal Nightmare (2018). Unfortunately, prior to the release of Eternal Nightmare, lead vocalist, Alex Koehler, revealed that he was suffering from alcoholism and was no longer a member of the band. New vocalist, Tom Barber, was introduced and Chelsea Grin has since then moved forward as a collective unit.
As if being able to catch Chelsea Grin wasn’t enough, let’s talk about the rest of this line-up. The Acacia Strain, Spite, Traitors and Left Behind will all be at this Tuesday show so put on those dancing shows and come on out.
