Chase Rice packed the Myth Thursday evening. Chase Rice is a country music singer and songwriter from North Carolina. Chase also appeared on reality tv show Survivor:Nicaragua. He co-wrote the single “Cruise” performed by Florida Georgia Line. Chase released the EP Ready Set Roll, featuring the single “Ready Set Roll”, in October 2013. The full-length album “Ignite the Night” was released on August 2014, and includes “Ready Set Roll”. On August 27, 2014, “Ignite The Night” debuted at #1 on Billboard Top Country Albums. “Lambs and Lions” Chase’s fourth studio album will be released November 2017.
Singer / Songwriter from Shreveport, Louisiana Jacob Davis. Jacob released his debut single “What I Wanna Be” in mid 2017. Jacob opened the concert for Chase Rice. His set promptly started at 8pm and won over the fans quickly. The ladies loved to watch him dance around on stage. He played a very energetic sixty minute set. During his set he used the cat walk and shake hands with all of the adoring fans. Jacob Davis has a lot of new country talent. I’m very interested to see how soon his music career takes off.
The lights were low and the excitement was building. The back of stage led lights started a countdown. The screams were getting so loud it was almost unbearable. On the large led screens came up a short video of all of the members of Chase Rice’s staff, including his truck driver. What a great thank you to his staffs hard work each day. After the quick video the band slowly came out on stage. The fans were going crazy. Chase’s band had a strong metal edge to them. The played a lot heavier electric guitar and thundering bass. The set included hits like “Ready Set Roll”,”Carolina Can”,”Gonna Wanna Tonight” and “50 Shades of Crazy”. Chase and his band had a lot of fun on stage. They played on the catwalk about two feet away from their screaming fans. What a great show !!!
