Are you completely overwhelmed by all of the options for live music this weekend like I am? Let me go ahead and throw another can’t miss show your way. Dem Atlas will be opening for Graveyard Club on Saturday, October 28th at The Icehouse in Minneapolis. This Halloween bash is sponsored by Indeed Brewing CO and is sure to be full of good costumes, great drinks, and amazing music. Dem Atlas is one of the newest additions to Rhymesayers- one of the many reasons why Twin Cities hip-hop is as big of a deal as it is around the world. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve seen Dem Atlas live but I can tell you that is never gets old. His energy is electric and his music is catchy enough to get stuck in your head for days but also unique enough as to not get boring or over-played. His punk attitude and energy mixed with his well thought out and put together hip-hop music leaves you with an experience unlike anything else thereby making his 11PM set the perfect way to celebrate Halloween with all of your friends.

Headlining the show will be local group Graveyard Club. Now, if that name doesn’t scream Halloween to you and make you want to come out to this show, I don’t know what will. Having never seen these guys live before, I’m excited to see what their live show brings to the table. Their synth heavy songs are haunting yet catchy. This four piece has been in the scene for years and I’m honestly shocked that I have yet to catch them at a show but Saturday will be my chance… and yours. Not only will this be a Halloween Bash, but Saturday night’s show will also be the release party for Graveyard Club’s newest single “Ouija”– yeah, kinda perfect for a Halloween show, huh?

Costumes are encouraged. I’ll be the one in the witch hat. Come find me!

Tickets are still available here.
