BUZ*N 102.9‘s Country 4 a Cause! Presented by HealthPartners & Park Nicollet was a smash hit at the Myth Tuesday night. All proceeds from the show benefited the Park Nicollet Jane Brattain Breast Center Community Outreach Fund through Park Nicollet Foundation. Proceeds help support and empower women in our community through the Mammo-a-go-go Community outreach Program; providing education, screening mammograms and diagnostic care. Justin Moore, Cam, Adam Craig and Tyler Farr Artist performed.

The night started with heavy hearts amongst the fans and performers, following the mass shooting in Las Vegas. The concert was opened by the BUZ*N 102.9’s DJ team. The team threw out shirts and koozies into the crowd, and spoke about love and togetherness. A moment of silence was observed for all the people hurt and families affected by this senseless crime.

The first performer was Tyler Farr. Tyler came out and sat down on his stool. He was accompanied by two back up guitarists. Tyler opened the concert with song “I Should Go to Church Sometime”. The fans loved the acoustic setup of the stage. Following Tyler Farr’s first song country music newcomer Adam Craig came out and pulled up a stool and performed hit song “Just a Phase”. Following Adam Craig was country music newcomer Cam. Cam came out with a stool to join the other two artist. Her voice sounded like a beautiful angel. Cam opened with song “Mayday”. Cam introduced the final artist as he walked on stage Justin Moore. Justin also pulled up a stool and played hit song “Small Town USA”. All of the performers talked about each song before they played it. They all played a single song at a time in order. The chart topping hits were played like “Grandpa”,”Till My Last Day”,”Burning House”,”Half Broke Heart”,”Little Bit More of You” and ”Redneck Crazy”.

The performers finished their four song each set and the fans were screaming wanting more. The BUZ*N 102.9 DJ team came out to thank the fans for coming out and were demanding a encore. The BUZ*N team was able to get the performers to play all together a Tom Petty cover. All four performers played together “Mary Jane’s Last Dance” in tribute to Tom Petty. Wow what a great evening for a great cause. I’m already looking to next year’s Country for a Cause 2018.
