f(x) aluma and L.A. native, Amber Liu brings her new solo Tour X to the Varsity Theater on Tuesday, January 28th. Doors open at 6:30pm, show starts at 7pm.

Tickets are still available HERE

f(x) (pronounced “eff-ex”), SM Entertainment’s award-winning five-member electro-pop girl group debuted in 2009 and disbanded formally in 2016. Amber has stood out from the beginning for her tomboy image, making a unique and provocative statement as K-Pop idol in an industry built on representations of hyper-femininity in girl groups. Amber’s androgynous style, charming personality (especially her self-deprecating humor), and diligent work ethic have earned her a loyal international following.

This whirlwind tour celebrates Amber’s new solo album X (2020) which dropped on January 17th. The EP marks her first musical effort since breaking formally with SM Entertainment in August 2019 and signing on with Steel Wool Entertainment of Los Angeles. Pre-album teasers included some exciting new music videos, including “Other People” which dropped the jaws of a number of friends and loyal fans. Check it out below and come out to support Amber next Tuesday.

Amber will be joined by indie rocker group Meg & Dia and pop singer Justice Carradine at the Varsity.
