AJJ coming to the sold out Entry on 9/9

There is nothing ordinary about Phoenix band AJJ. They shortened their name from Andrew Jackson Jihad to AJJ “because band names don’t matter” according to them. Their goal is “We put out every record hoping to lose a couple fans.” and a recent article described them as a band with a cult following that step out from the shadows whenever they pass through town.

Their current album “The Bible 2” was release last year and they added pianos and synths but they are still punk-folk at their core. Their current tour celebrates the 10 year anniversary of “People Who Can Eat People Are the Luckiest People in the World” and  will bring them to First Avenue’s Entry on 9/9. The show is sold out, but check First Ave’s social media for last minute tickets.
