It was clearly Sunday Funday at Bryant-Lake Bowl as She Rock She Rock kicked off their fundraiser to support their 10th year of of Girls Rock-n-Roll Retreat. The event was a great gathering of young and young at heart. The teams like The Strike Girls, The Pinheads, Uncle Helen, Gutterballs, and others battled it out on the lanes for fantastic prizes as well as bowling for their goal of raising money for organization. All proceeds were raised to fund She Rock She Rock, a Minnesota based non-profit organization dedicated to empowering girls, women and female-identified folks through the art of music.
But the fun did not stop on the bowling lanes, as The Ultrasounds, Bruise Violet, and Kitten Forever tuned up the volume in the Bryant-Lake Theater. The cozy venue was a perfect setting to see these three bands rock their hearts out. And YES, the bands did not disappoint those in attendance. Each band played to their heart contents and all were total crowd pleasers.
