J Balvin is originally from Columbia having visited the United States in Oklahoma and New York City before returning to Columbia. He then started pursuing his passion in creating music with his DJ partner David Rivera Mazo. Since then, he has many international hits including a remix with Beyonce’ “Mi Gente” giving him a top ten in the United States.
