It was just a couple of months ago when I caught 100 Gecs for the first time when they opened for Brockhampton and I was absolutely captivated. I clearly wasn’t the only one who caught wind of this group and now they are playing a SOLD OUT show on Thursday, February 27th at The Fine Line.
100 gecs is a duo between Laura Les and Dylan Brady. Scavenging scraps of musical influences and welding them into dangerous machines, they destroy the competition with their army of lethal bangers. Critically heralded as “very good” and “music”, their ambition knows no bounds.
I honestly don’t know what else to say about this band other than the fact that they had me caught when they opened up that show a couple of months ago.
