First Ave hosted the sixth installment of Pabst Blue Ribbon and F1RST Wrestling sponsored WRESTLEPALOOZA VI Saturday evening. The crowd was well hydrated with plenty of PBR on hand. Wrestlepalooza is not all about sports, there is actually a variety of things that occur during the busy event. The evening kicked into gear with What Tyrants who performed an impressive, high-energy set that immediately had the crowd engaged.
The main events featured pro-wrestling spectacles like “The Anarchist” Arik Cannon, Zero Gravity, Sheik Ariya Daivari, El Chivas Blanco, Yabo the Clown, and others. In between the rounds of hard-hitting body slams, the crowd was treated to the top-notch sexy, sassy, slutry strut of burlesque … yes burlesque. The burlesque performances featured, Queenie Von Curves and Sweetpea with an entertaining Mario Bros routine, and Mona Montague who donned a sexy Darth Vader costume for her routine that ended with just a lightsaber. Rap heavyweight Mike Mictlan from Doomtree performed a strong hip-hop style set that had the crowd dancing.
