Big rock seems to run in the blood of Wolfmother front man “Andrew Stockdale”. Since 2005 he has been putting out hit after hit such as “Joker and The Thief”, “Woman”, “New Moon Rising” and their latest single “Victorious”. Whether Stockdale is playing guitar or pounding on a distorted keyboard Wolfmother is sure to bring the noise and attitude you seek in all your rock and roll bands. This Sunday, September 16, the heavy rock band will hit First Avenue for the first time in over two years.
Opening for Wolfmother is the local group, Little Man. The band is known for their high energy shows and their diverse catalog of song, that spreads from psychedelic to garage to punk. First Avenue’s website describes the band as “George Harrison meets Bowie meets Jack White”. With 8 full length releases Little Man should knock the roof loose for Wolfmother.
